Fire Weather Discussion as of 8:30 p.m. MDT Tuesday, October 7, 2025

     The Fire Weather Discussion has ended for the 2025 Fire Season. It will only be updated as conditions warrant. 

Aviation discussion as of 8:35 p.m. MST Wednesday, December 10, 2025 valid through 10:00 p.m. MST Thursday, December 11, 2025:

  IFR conditions will prevail throughout the night with steady rainfall before tapering off on Thursday morning. Winds will pick up once rain comes to an end and will scour out stratus with high MVFR or VFR conditions developing. Higher peaks of the Cabinet Mountains will likely remain obscured throughout the day. Southwest winds will increase in the 10 to 20 mph range with gusts up to 25 mph possible. LLWS will be an issue with ridge top winds very strong from the west at 40 to 50 mph with gusts to 80 mph before decreasing later in the day.
